Welcome
The Healesville Music Festival is a family friendly event held in the beautiful township of Healesville, nestled just 70 kms from Melbourne in the world famous Yarra Valley. The festival, which is now in its sseventh year, will be run over 3 days on the 11th, 12th & 13th November.

The line-up and venues for the 2016 Festival are currently being reviewed, but we hope to have an even better line-up than last year and expand on last years venues - The Memo, Healesville RSL, Terminus Hotel, Mocha & Lime, the Uniting Church, St Brigid's Hall, Beechworth Bakery and Monroe's Place. We are also keen to continue with
the inclusion of lots of free entry sessions, in accordance with our committment to involve the whole community in the festival.

The festival aims to support the Yarra Valley’s diverse population of local musicians and its cultural diversity as well as showcasing world class touring artists in a music festival atmosphere like no other. Come along and enjoy the relaxed and friendly atmosphere, the many fine eating places, the wineries and, of course, the music.

SOULSVILLE to return
22nd March 2016
By popular demand following last November's Healesville Music Festival performance, SOULSVILLE returns. A 30 piece choir, soloists and band with guest instrumentalists will present an exciting expanded 14 song repertoire of contemporary Australian and classic gospel-style songs.  Presented in conjunction with Yarra Valley Musicians' Collective and Yarra Ranges Council, the concert will take place at the Healesville Memo on Sunday 15 May at 2.00pm. Entry is free.
Singers are still welcome to join the choir. No experience or audition is necessary, just commitment to six essential Friday night rehearsals from April 1 (not including April 29) and dress rehearsal and performance. For full details contact Catherine – 0417 002 793 or catherinenolan@bigpond.com

Another terrific Festival
28th December 2015
Wow. What a great weekend! The opening night dance on the Friday was a wonderful lead in to a weekend of musical participation and fun. Then on Saturday, with many performers showing their wares on a busy and exciting Main Street and lots more free music at several of the venues this year, the town was buzzing!
Healesville String Band and Soulsville had their first performances and the Saturday night Bush Dance had families kicking up their heels as they swung their partners through the steps.
All of this as well as the main venues continuing to showcase a mix of the cream of local talent, major national acts and international acts.
We give heartfelt thanks to our wonderful community volunteers, our hard working committee, and our generous sponsors. We also thank every person who attended – we hope you come back in November 2016.
